  1. Advertising: it began to rise in 1923. Mass production was happening due to advertisment and Americans "wanting more" which is encouraged my mass media. Americans could not keep up with factories production of new goods though.

peanut butter and jelly sandwich's were first created in the 1920's century. It was a very popular snack, and today, children and all sorts of people like my sister eat that stuff for lunch!

  4. Like the presentation my group and I did, I thought the Flappers were a pretty interesting fad. Because of them, we were able to become equal with the law and the men who had better freedom then us woman. If woman today were unable to break out of the rules, who knows what the present day would be. Probably lower pay in working opportunity or still getting arrested for smoking/drinking in public. Either way, it would be hell for us.

    DUN DUN DUN~!!!!

  8. The radio became very popular in the 1920s. After its' invention by Nikola Tesla, more and more households had a radio inside of them. The radio was used, at first, to listen to the president speak. The first president to speak on the radio was Franklin D. Roosevelt. Eventually, it was used to listen to music and sports events.

  9. A lot of interesting fads started in the 1920's. For example, band-aids were first invented in the 1920's. Also, most people couldn't stop drinking, thanks to Prohibition. Not being able to do something makes us want to do it that much more.
