How did women contribute to the war effort? How would you rate their efficiency?

  1. women had a great effect on WWII. When men were getting drafted tot he army, the women had to stay in factories and help build and make what was to be used during war. Pictures of women would also get sent to the men in combat to help them stay "sane" and get them through the tough aspects of the war. Women were to of "won the war" because of all the useful factors that contributed greatly to the war. It was very efficient also because we ended up actually winning the war.

    1. Women did a lot during WWII. while men left to the army there had to be someone to take there place, well thats exactly what women did. They started working on farms in factories and started do various things that men couldnt do because they were at war. Women at this time had so many jobs from working in hospitals to cutting down trees.

  3. Women did a lot to help with the war effort. They kept the home while the men were away at war. A lot of the women were nurses, plumbers, mechanics and more. Mostly I think they worked in the factories and mills making weapons that were used in the war. Their job was to keep up the morale while thier husbands were away fighting for our country.

  7. Women were highly involved witin the war, although they didn't fight on the battle fields women were the ones who took over when men left .They started working in factories, farms, as well as many more jobs. The women built the weapons and things used in war. with out the women there would not of been supplies for the soldiers . As well as building things, they were used to keep up moral for the men at war, sending the "sexy" pictures were encouraged & considered a good thing at that time. I think it was very efficient due to the fact we ended up winning the war. -Alondra Crawford . period 6 .
