I'm not surprised because the Europeans didn't see African Americans as people. They were seen as animals. It's not surprising that they weren't treated equal because they weren't seen as equals.
ReplyDeleteI am shocked because of how immoral it is. They were harming people based on the color of their skin. I am also shocked that the government allowed them to publicly tortured. The part I find the mostp shocking is that people would wtch, I think it is disgusting that they didn't see that it was wrong.
ReplyDeletePersonally im not surprised by the actions that were inflicted upon African Americas. The Europeans saw them as animals or interior to themselves so they had no problem humiliating and torturing them.
